The government of the Republic of Korea will provide US$200,000 in humanitarian aid to Mongolia, where the ongoing Dzud* is inflicting damage.

* A natural disaster phenomenon that occurs in Mongolia, particularly during the harsh winter months, resulting in widespread death among livestock

※ (Damage situation) Around 80% of the country is classified as Dzud or Dzud-risk conditions, with 3.09 million livestock perishing

The ROK government hopes that the humanitarian aid to Mongolia would support the recovery of the affected areas and help residents in the areas swiftly return to their daily lives.
