1. Ten working-level diplomats of the Republic of Korea will visit Iran from July 31 to August 7 for the second bilateral exchange program between working-level diplomats. The program was first held in Seoul in June 2015 pursuant to the relevant agreement between the governments of the two countries, for which six working-level diplomats of Iran visited the ROK.

2. The ROK diplomats will visit the Iranian Foreign Ministry, where they will be offered lectures on Iran’s Middle East policy and ways to enhance the ROK-Iran relations. They will also visit such organizations as centers on science and technology, and national strategies, and a chamber of commerce, as well as private companies to learn more about Iran’s industries and economy. In addition, they will have an opportunity to experience Iranian culture.

3. The exchange program between ROK and Iranian working-level diplomats is an important people-to-people exchange program that serves as the basis for strengthening the ROK-Iran relations in a future-oriented manner. The ROK government will continue efforts to boost such exchanges with Iran, including those between working-level diplomats.
